Following the sad demise of the much valued chain of Kenny’s Music stores, I’d like to inform all my customers that I intend to continue a high quality fretted instrument repair service.
In the Dundee area, I will still provide my own collection/delivery service, accessed by email – rod@rvguitars.co.uk. or rodvguitars@gmail.com
For the modest charge of £10, I will continue to uplift and return instruments, by prior arrangement, via a mutually agreeable location.
This now popular and proven business model will involve the same degree of advice and consultation – it just won’t occur inside a shop.
I will also now consider expanding the scope of this service to include areas further afield.  

Working from this building has been a fixed point in my life for the best part of 40 years.
I’m sad my tenure there has come to an end but I guess that’s just the way of the world.
I would like to thank all those who have made my time here largely a pleasure, rather than a chore.
I hope I’m able to continue to provide a service for those in the immediate area who can’t go through the Aberdeen and Dunfermline branches of Kenny’s, where the existing arrangement for repairs will resume from April. As for the rest, I’ll see what I can come up with. For now please bear with me. I’ll continue to reply to enquiries as I ponder a possible solution.
